Big used car dealerships in the area

First, what's a decent and big dealership in Gatineau other than Mega?

The wife came up with a solution, trade in the caddy for a minivan for her and the baby, and a beater that's on the lot for me! So i'm going to call a few dealerships and see if any of them are interested.

This way I can put the e30 on jack stands and finish it as originally planned before I found out I have a baby coming.

This is a big sigh of relief.

Sorry to everyone I was in the process of buying parts off of. I now still plan on each transaction completing as planned!

I bet they'd all be interested....Other than Car Canada, which I hate, I can't think of anybody else that's huge in the area but I'm not sure the size of the dealership should be your issue. Figure out what van you like first, then go buy!

Oh, to buy a van again, I'd get an Odyssey and completely stay away from Caravans but in all fairness our Montana SV6 is holding up really well and it's coming up to 90k.

Happy hunting!

Oh no lol. The wife really likes the Grand Caravan since that's what her parents currently have, and had all her life. I tried to get her into the Mazda 5? but too small she said (lol).
Any experience with the Mazda MPV?

I had an MPV (1991) when I had my kids. Greatest thing (mini vans) ever created for parents. I removed the middle seat which left about a 4'x4' area to change diapers, haul playpens etc. The new ones look funny. I do like the Odyssey as it's roomy and peppy. Toyotas are good too.

I've got my eye on a 2005 mpv (injected with zoom zoom allegedly). 200hp, stiffer suspension than regular vans, 17" with 60 profile tires, stowing rear seat and sliding rear windows! that's my favourite part, the windows!

My buddy had an MPV; it was very good. Just triple check the transmission for any strange shifts; there were a few with problems I guess. He's had a couple vans and swears the MPV was the best one. We did an awesome roadtrip in it to Salem Mass a few years back to celebrate witch-like things. It was fun.

Do not get MPV.

Working in a garage, we've changed transmission of a few MPVs, there is no room to do anything on these cars and if you need to replace the alternator, its PITA.
I am talking about pre 2001 MPVs not sure about newer models. Maybe they are better/easier to work on.

IMO you are better off buying a Toyota or Honda.

I can tow the e30 to the autoX, and if the e30 breaks down give it a rip in the MPV lol

Yeah, but they have had their own issues with transmissions. Honda especially.

One day we will have this teleportation thing figured out. But i'm willing to put money on it that all of us here will still tinker with a gas guzzling money pit.
