Yeah FWD is a real buzzkill. I felt the same way about my MP3. "This is totally the only car I ever need. Except it's FWD."

Steve, you car looks sick, no doubt about it... hell, it might not even suck at the auto-x, but it should at least come out again. I'm sure you can thrash it for 5 rounds now. You've gotta redeem yourself!

Rob, Sell your E30 and your Schnitzers and buy an MK1 jetta coupe with some Ronal Turbo's/ATS Cups/Snowflakes/Pepperpots/P-Slots/Phonedials/BBS RA's and some roof racks and shut the **** up.

Gee, Scott, where did you get all this knowledge of hot Dub gear? I think thou doth protest too much!

I submit as evidence 1a: The "History of the GTI" hardcover on your passenger seat at the autoX... *pausing while the crowd gasps...*

Seriously though I'd rock a MK1 Jetta Coupe till my knees got sore from falling off my tricycle. The Turbo's will be Zenders, though, and go on my e30...

I'm in denial... I've already owned a VW jetta, so I know how bad they are, but I just can't get over sick old skool Centra 8's, and Zender Stars, and Borbet Type B's...

THAT BOOK WAS FOR JOHN TO LOOK AT!!! Now that I've memorized all the contents of it. We're crashing Spring Fling! Don't worry.

Yea, I decided at the last minute to stop by, we had lunch reservations and we were early and had some time to spare.

If it wasn't our anniversary weekend I would have participated, I'll try to make the next one.

Need to book a track day also! I'm thinking of attending the Edenvale opening event.

Geeze I missed a lot eh?

I think everyone here is guilty of owning a VW. I had a MKII Jetta coupe and a Rabbit GTI.

LOL. I've gone through six VW's, 4 of which were mkII's. Love those cars, but never again. My comment on owning one of those is, as good as they are, they are nothing compared to an e30 and so why bother with a VW, when you can get an e30?? Also all newer VW's/Audi's = FAIL. Wrong wheel drive, or worse awd ftl. Not to mention repare costs on my mk4 1.8t are retarded. My previous e36 328 cost way less to insure, repair and fuel. Not for a long time will I buy another VW.

I had fun at the time, I guess that's what mattered most.
