BTW, I'm jabela.
Here's a bunch of unedited pix from Sept 19.

Also, I'd prefer to do the double header during the summer instead of november as well.

If you want a carbon fibre helmet, this is the cheapest I've seen at $399.99

That would be an awesome helmet... if it was SA2010

Actually they have good prices on SA2010 helmets too.
G-Force Pro Eliminator SA2010 Helmet $249.99
http://www.saferacer.com/g-force-pro...productid=2342
or
Bell Sport SA2010 Auto Racing Helmet $279.95
http://www.saferacer.com/bell-sport-...productid=2210
Too bad I couldn't wait for the 2010's when I bought.
Oh well, SA2005 will be good for at least 5 years.

Oh true... I was liking that carbon one but it looks like their website hasn't even been updated since '09.

What rating is required for track events?

Yea, I'm pretty sure that's a motorcycle helmet so it's probably MA2005 at best.
I bought from the USA because I had someone I could ship it to who could bring it over and deliver it me.

I think John said SA2005 was the minimum. The difference between MA2005 and SA2005 is SA2005 is fireproof and is designed for multiple hits in a crash (like against a roll cage.
It's a good idea to get a neck brace too. HANS would be ideal, but it's very pricey. The neck brace will help protect your neck in a crash and it will help support your head with the extra ~5lb helmet on high G turns.

I'm gonna stop by the store and check, their website lists most as m rated this one only says snell, so hoping for the best. Worst case I'm gonna try on a bunch of manufactures helmets to get sizing and look online.

They are on Champlain east of thickson rd

Anyone think we can get a group buy going on helmets? I'd like to get a new one as well.

At the very least, if someone orders one we could all get in on the order to save on shipping?
