Here's the (only) video that I managed to save on my 2nd pass in the shifter kart. It was too shaky for the camera as it almost fell off at the end. Great times, except for the bruised ribs and sore muscles today.

Sorry, no Miata or rabbit pictures. I only took a few shots, but next year I will try to get shots of every car. If you can wait that long.
What about the guy who was taking pictures of all the cars?
Where does he post them up? Just a thought.

It's Ian from Motorwerks. I e-mailed him and asked from last time. But no luck, he's pretty busy. I wish I could get a few off him.

Big thanks to John for pulling off an awesome event Saturday. Super fun time, even if it was a bit cold, and got a bit dark at the end

Big Thanks to John for putting together a great season overall!! Extra points for securing the Powerade Centre for all of next year! My first full season of Auto-x was an awesome time. Sorry I had to leave before it was all over on saturday, but I had committed to a family get-together, and had a dog at home that needed to be walked. Good times though, despite the weather... and darkness.

actually looks less violent in the video then watching you do it live!!!!

your first or second run, coming into the box with your pants on fire - PRICELESS!!!!

(you said it didn't burn the skin so I joke)

Thanks for all of the props guys, I really appreciate it. It takes so much to put one of these on. And it takes so much out of you when they go to shit like the October Oakville event. 14 hour day on Saturday in the cold took it's toll on me. I'm home sick today, so I've been working on the results, should have them posted in a day or two tops.

Hey, Thank-you for all of your help, it was great having another person able to marshall to help give the participants a break.

Cheers,
John

Yeah I've been pm'ing him every couple weeks for pics from the august auto-x.
But like you said he's pretty busy.

I wish he would just watermark all his pics and host them somewhere.

Bit more to it than that!

There is a bit more to it than watermarking photos and posting. Firstly I will never ever post full size images on the web, a good photoshop guy will take care of a watermark no problem. Secondly, photography is part of my income, I will only post images that I am happy with. Thirdly I am trying hard to get my new magazine put together so it can get published. The photos I have been taking have been for an article that will appear in the second issue so that really is the focus. I understand that people like to see their photos but this is business and when I get to it I will get to it. I am sure the club would rather the press in the magazine than just see photos on the Internet. I have a $20,000 plus investment in camera gear, I have to take care of business. Hope this does not offend!

When do you expect the magazine to begin publishing? I think we're all ok with what you're doing, but an ETA on when we might see them would be a good idea. We're all anxiously awaiting the results of your work...

This month

The plan is to publish the first issue this month. The media kit and sample magazine are going out to potential advertisers the end of this week and two weeks later Issue 1 for general consumption.
