If I had a little more help, meaning, someone else to run the event so I could do.......say 8 of them, and someone else do any additional events including transporting equipment, taking care of booking and paying for venue, registering insurance, setting up, and tearing down, calculating results and answering 40-50 emails between events, (did I miss anything?) then i'm down! Any takers???

LOL, I thought not................but if? Contact me.

If we could scope out a real nice location in the KW area, and you provide some training I might entertain the idea of running a few events next summer. You'd almost need two sets of equipment though, one for east end autox and one for west end autox.

Me and Dave were chatting briefly last week at the KW meet (that no one comes to) about good places locally to host an autox.

^ Not gonna lie dude, that's not gonna fly. A lot of people won't want to drive out that way for an AutoX (I certainly wouldn't), and I doubt there's enough funding for another set of timing gear/pylons/trailer currently.

I know, it would be pretty far for you to drive. However there's two sides to that coin. I'm sure there's a number of people on the west side that feel the same way, in particular anyone in the London area. I'll admit, holding them in the GTA makes the most sense because that's the largest population centre, and like John said since there's things like booking venues, and insurance it's definitely easier to stick to only one venue. I personally have no problem with driving from Guelph to Brampton once a month for an event. However just because you, or a number of the regulars live way out in the east end doesn't mean it wouldn't work, it just means that the championship standings might be a little different

distance from Guelph to Brampton is 42km

distance from Oshawa to Brampton is 48 km

I think Randy & John have found a Perfect middle point for Everyone, and I have think the new location could be one of the best lots, good pavement, washrooms, and it HUGE!!!!!

Lets just focus on everyone getting their asses to the November Double Header, both racers and spectators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI, here's the current championship standings.

Make me really that I had made it to the first two events. I'll need some good results on Nov 6.

You do know that you and Steve aren't the only ones who goto auto-x right?

KW is the same distance as it was the vaughan for Scott and I.

And Rich, more auto-x would be cheaper then 400$ driving schools.

Yeah I know this, Woodville is where John lives, not Steve. I didn't even think to see what his commute would be. Obviously a good 80km or so. I'm speaking from the point of view from individuals who actually come to all the events.

And since when did you live in Kitchener? You said before you came all the time from Meadowvale. That's not that bad, neither is Streetsville. Streetsville to Vaughan is still 30km shorter than to Port Perry chief.

Autocross is like a quicky, and totaly fun and amazing.

ADS is like a non stop weekend romp leaving you breathless, tired, sore, but smiling like a sinner for days.

Not to mention, what you learn at the schools you don't get at the autocross.
