If anyone has any suggestions with selling my home privately, please feel free to share I have already consulted a few places.. Would like to get some opinions from others, and/or experiences.
Sign on lawn will get the neighbours talking and may get some interest from a friend of theirs who likes the area. Had an Open house but a lot of tire kickers. Price the house right but be prepared for the low ballers and time wasters who will want to discount the equvilant of real estate fees as you are saving them anyways?. I put signs up on a major nearby road facing both directions too. Ran one ad in the local Pennysaver which brought the buyer to my door I was asking $162,000 I think, this was about 4yrs ago. Had a timeline before listing and beat it by a couple of days. Good luck hope it works out for you.
