Funny the same issue rises up regards to price. I bought a 92 Civic Si hatch to play with bone stock 152000km for about $5000, then I spent at least $5000 modding it complete suspension, intake, short shift, stereo, alarm etc....this price did not even include the new paint job. So it is a supply and demand market. If you find one buy it - if you don't like the price - just try to find another one no need to bash on dollar an cents on a guy.
Remember it boils down to who has the product - who REALLY wants to buy it.

I do believe your parents paid for the engine rebuild however.....

AND, you ARE still living under their roof, so it's not like you have any REAL expenses to deal with.

That being said, CRX's have held their value well in relation to some other Honda's. They are fairly high demand with some of the import scene, and I know people who are selling them for high 4 figures and occasionally into the 5 figure range.

$5000 is a reasonable price for the car, and $6,000 is a little on the high end, but not out of the ballpark. $3200 would be a steal, so I'd imagine Rob would be a lousy used car salesman if he let it go for that little.

Would I pay that much for it? No, but that's because I can buy a nice E30 325is for $6,000, rather than a 15 year old Honda CRX.

I'm still looking for a good condition 325ix to buy....

All you have to do is look in the Autotrader to see what other cars are going for. However, you CAN”T TAKE THE LOWEST you find and assume all the cars are worth that.

93 Civic SI Hatback with 125,000 KM is probably worth the $6000. It all depends on Condition and the final drive.

E46_Lover (Jon)…weren’t you trying to sell a 1990 Chevy Celebrity Wagon with 255K for $2000 or $3000 ????????

$3000 for a 93 Civic with Low KM is crazy… That’s just my opinion.

On a car like that mods do not increase the resale value. You'd make more money puttinghte car back to stock, and selling the mods seperately. I wouldn't pay that much for the car in the first place. If you get $4000 for it take it...

mogie, want a JDM engine? i can supply them at good prices..

GladdoM3..little girl?

my point is wat greco540 said..mods DONT increase the value, i told u that but u didnt comment on it (not on max)

he can keep the system, intake, exhaust and springs or whatever he did to lower it..and sell those seperatly..my bro can offer $4000 at most, there are OTHER civics in the trader, a 94 si hatch for 4300, with 140 000km..its a honda, these engines can take a beating without ****ing up (randy's JDM sir motor for example).

kenny...if you were a pro, wouldnt u wanna **** a hot virgin?

dtthiaga i lowered the price to $1200 or so because thats a good price, its still running good without ANY problems it's more reliable than bimmer745i's 7 series when he had it! it hasnt had ANY problems what so ever.
