I encountered fade once and didn't trust the brakes to stop me at turn 5 the way I would have liked. I hit an indicated 170 wayy before the braking point. It might have been higher but one other time adn the brakes were just screaming at me! I regret not getting better pads and brake fluid. The car hustled the way it should have and surprised me at every turn. It's a rocket that handles. Who knew!

These instructors are amazing. I had a gentleman named Don Richardson. He heard and felt the car more than I ever have. One smart cookie.

Jay, glad you got the class room instructors name. He was entertaining.

I can't say I ever got confused with any corners but I had issues with Temptation and the last set 17-18-19, just before the pits.

Cameron posted some pics on his FB account. The man takes his driving very seriously. PM me for the deets.

Upon further thought, I always felt that I was turning in too late but I think it's just me....

I am glad you guys had a safe and fun day. I am sure you can see and appreciate the positive points in taking a School versus a Lapping day going for the first time on a track.

It was very cold in the morning (-3C) but at least a dry day with lots of sunshine. I did not get out on the track until later in the afternoon as I was very busy with running the 'A' group exercises. We introduced a new program in our school and it will lead to much more exiting track driving for the Advanced students. These exercises will get advanced drivers used to be driving off-line and passing anywhere on the track. Everyone in this group loved it and we are looking forward to expand this further.

Hope to see some of you out again in July for the whole weekend.

Hi Klaus, had an amazing day. Thanks for everything. I'm not sure I got the chance to thank everyone but a great time was definitely had by the people I was with.

I truly appreciated having an instructor next to me for the first time out on a track. I'm now addicted and can't wait to go again!

Alright, so this Saturday is looking like a fine beautiful day. My wife and I are planning on a 2 hour trek to McDonald's corners, then a little hike in the woods to watch some of the Lanark Highlands Forest Rally:
