m54b30 turbo on stock internals?

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has turbo'd their m54b30 on stock internals. If so how much boost can it handle safely, and what turbo are you using? Im not looking for HEAPS of power at the moment, but would like to enter the FI world, so any feedback would be great.

Technique Tuning in Florida has a full kit including tuning. I think its around 8.5PSI for a stick. The auto can only take somewhere in the 6's without blowing the tranny. Just buy the kit from him, it's a great price especially with the $ at par.
