That shift lever is not in E90s. It's called the Sport Automatic and is available in 2008 and newer 550s and 650s. It was factory option code 2TB on those cars. Not sure the part number but I can possibly provide you with a VIN that would have the knob installed on it.

Naw, thanks bud. Got the part number. the one I'm going to be installing is the one in the pic and it's off a 2008 X5. Like it's look the best. Just got to order. Mabe start installation next weekend.

the picture in your original post is definitely not from an X5. It is a 2008-2010 550i with the optional Sport Automatic.

Actually you're right. I was looking @ my pics last night (was looking @ all the available DCT shifters avail in all models and you're right; the one I've decided to go with is from the 08 550i with sport. X5 also has a nice shift knob, but I prefer this version more.
