Ottawa Metal Recycling / Raw materials

Hey guys,

I need some metal for some projects I'm working on, like 51mm ID pipe, and also have scrap steel to get rid of. What metal places are in Ottawa that I can browse a selection of stock and return some scrap (like brake rotors and exhaust pipe)?

I've heard people mention one off south Merivale I think?

What kind of project are you working on if you don't mind me asking? Is it for work or just for fun? I have a friend who is a really good welder that can lend you a hand for cheap. He may also be interested in the scrap.

I'm welding perches on my strut towers for the coilover adjusters, and possibly building a tire rack on the wall. I have a gas mig in the garage..

The scrap is just old pipe and brake rotors, some springs, etc.

Theres also one on Sheffield Road. I can't remember what its called though.
