What do i look for as in problem wise like cooling, suspension anything else to check for ?

Rocker Panels, under the fenders. door bottoms,trunk lid.
Thats rust.
Engine
Listen for chain grind, vanos noise, knocking, smell the oil for fuel.

On a 17 year on Canadian car, i would say #1 is rust, #2 is accidents (as any body repairs lead to rust). Everything else is easy to fix, and parts are all over the place.
