Where to buy Seafoam locally?
Anyone? My cousin's jetta VR6 won't stop hesitating and sputtering (doesn't fully stall). We checked out everything we can think of (plugs, injectors, cleaning intake system/throttle, checking the o2 sensors, new gas). I thought I'd give the seafoam a shot (plus I get to test it out before using it on my car).

car quest and yes it works wonders. I did it to both my m3 and 325i and it improved throttle response especially in my 325i.

Thanks guys! There's a partsource near my house so I'll check that out.
FYI Seafoam is a product that cleans (read: burns) all of the carbon deposits and build-up out from your engine. It seems to work great in cases of heavy buildup, apparently. I'm gonna test it out this weekend and if it really makes a difference I'll try it on my car too.

slightly off topic, how good are the wynn injector cleaners and fuel stabilizers from ct/partsource/walmart etc?
anyone used them on bimmers?

Seafoam is just a good if not better, and Napa sells it for around $10 a can around here, partsource had it for $12.

Does the VR6 have plug wires? I would bet on them if the car is equipped with them. If not check for a broken vaccum line.
