What options do I have to upgrade from a regular 2010 e90 steering wheel?

So I'm getting my new 2010 328xi, but unfortunately without the sports package...I love the car, but find the steering wheel to be really dull...so my question is, what options do I have in terms of upgrade?...I would have liked to at least apply a trim to it, but I was told that trims can only be done to sports package wheels due to the big airbag....so what are my choices?...has anyone upgraded their base steering wheel? (or maybe trimmed, leather wrapped)

Check out the interior mods section on e90post. You will need the M3 or Mtech (or even a sport wheel if it is thicker than your current non-sport one), trim, airbag and some metal adapter ring (not sure what it's called). The latter does not come with the eBay wheels nor does BMW sell it separately.

The airbag and the metal ring will be the hardest to source.
