i have pss10's on my e46 m3. comfortable, especially on the soft setting and on the hard setting its not back break but it is stiffer.

if your paying 280 for a set of coilovers, your asking for problems to happen.

bilstein has been a good reliable coilover to go with if your unsure. eibach/ground control are also a good company as well as kw but they are pricey. suspension in general is a some what pricey area since it's the car's handling and control. its like cheaping out on brakes. would you buy pads and rotors for $50 not knowing that they can give out or not work that great when you need them to?

OP - any more questions? please re-read my first post.

a rule of thumb for racelands, the lower you go the stiffer the springs get lol.

To the OP, if you want looks go for racelands. if you want "feel" spend 7 times as much to get PSS9's.

besides noone knows you'll be dropped on racelands if you dont tell anyone

edit.. i have YET to read a story of how upset someone was with their raceland purchase. because of faulty product. sure you get what you pay for, but just keep in mind OP when you do buy these coilovers (which I know you will)
dont expect sports car handling. some might say its a slight downgrade from O.E suspension, me personally i never have the opportunity to drive it aggressivly enough to tell the difference. but nothings broken and I have filled in that wheel well.

thats just wrong information.

kw's run a progressive spring which means theres no defined spring rate. progressive springs are more for the comfort rather that track type of spring.
also, a lot of coilovers can get you nice and low. i'm sure kw's can get you that low and still ride better.

OP, stop listening to this guy. also, cosmetic drop means no comfort is really needed. you just want to be as low as possible but look good.
as a DD you want to be in comfort while driving.

Pre and post drop

60/40 setup sportmax springs on stock shocks i think....
i paid 200$ for it! and the end results:
1. blown shock
2. brocken stabilizer bar shackle
3. bumpy as hell ride
...
but i was after the look. im going to fix it up this summer proper shocks etc.
P.S. I ran an autocross session with what i said above! woooooooo

oh right.....needs an iS lip.

Thanks for all the help ppl. i highly appriciate all the input that was put into my question and even though i did not want people arguing over this i highly appriciate the input that was put in by every1.

enen though i was only doing the cosmetic drop, the car will still b a DD. This is still more of a summer thing but one thing for sure i wont ruin the drive just for the look.

thanks once again every1 for all the help u guys here are awesome

Come on, don't make shit up. You're giving people false information. We aren't all stupid here.

But, if they do get stiffer the lower they are, WOW. There is something terribly wrong with racelands!
