Nah.......

Wait when the late E46 models get very cheap, nicely done up E36 examples would diminish as well. This also comes with a fact of E46 being a more refined car as well. Not many will dump big bucks in the E36 models. For sure!

By pure numbers and age yes the e36 wins as others have said. But it's also now cheaper to get a clean e36 then a clean e30. E36s are hitting the age where they are starting to rust out, and there numbers will drop over the next 5 to 10 big time. As they rot you will see more e30 owners swapping in new motors and then the tables will turn.

The e30 will probley end up being around for a long long time as they are the last 3 series with a classic look. The e36 is a good looking car (I have both) but not sure if it will have as strong of a following as the e30 does in the long run.
