WTF its costing tax payers $900 million just for security to see the boring games?..use the money and build some hospitals instead.This is a total waste of money and I hope Vancouver chokes on its man made snow....has any recent olympics actually made a profit?...Greece is paying for it now since they lost over $1.6 billion on their games.They invested over $4.6 billion and the so call returns from real estate and tourist money never materialized.Atlanta lost over 1.4 billion.Dont forget Montreal and is 30 year payments for the chity plastic stadium......

Greece is not paying the games....its paying the Merc SLR that the game organizer bought a few days after it was announced she will be in charge! and all sorts of money that magically disappeared. And i say that as a Greek. There was tons of shit like that happening there. Anyone from Greece will tell you.

the money goes from one hand to another .. it helps local businesses and keeps money within Canada. Its not like were contracting cops outside of Canada. Think outside the box and maybe you will notice the profit.
