So at the end of the last summer my 95 e36 318is needed an engine swap so i decided to swap in a m52 obd1 conversion. The swap went very well but during the end of the process, me and my buddy noticed that it had a problem with starting up, as it started very rarely. Once the swap was totally complete, we found that the crankshaft sensor was in bad condition and figured that this was the problem so we got another one which did make it seem more effective but was still struggling. Then we found out a couple spark plugs were bad and after we changed them, the car would start!!! (sometimes on the first try but usually took a few cranks) So i got to drive it around all day for a good weekend then i had to leave to texas for a couple months. When i came back the car won't start!!!
im guessing the weather had something to do with it as it was start in the end of the summer but not the winter. We changed the camshaft sensor and still nothing... CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME... I WANT TO DRIVE THIS CAR AND ITS KILLING ME SOFTLY WITH EVERYDAY THAT PASSES. Currently, my buddy reccomends the computer being the issue.
P.S. Any feed back would be GREATLY appreciated... And if it comes down to it i would be willing to pay for someone to figure out the problem...
Thanks for your time,
