Reading the included phamplet it also says upon your jury date you must put your life on hold for the next 2-3 weeks. WTF!

^^ according to the phamplet, they will pay you, BUT only $40/day after the first 10 days of trial.

you will get full compensation for the first 2 weeks, fyi, the likelihood that you will be assigned to a case that will stretch out for longer than 2 weeks is slim to none... don't worry and enjoy a brutal 5 hours in the court room!

My colleague at work just called and said the he's the only income in the family, that he is 100% commissioned sales and if he's not here to earn money, his family doesn't eat.

LMAO. now that I think back, that could have been how they got me too. I did two weeks on an attempted rape trial with an overnight stay on the last day. Major headache from that.
