New to maxBimmer - Need some advice
Morning everyone. I just bought my first BMW, though I have been driving a MINI for the past few years, but it doesn't really count. It is a 2003 530iM, and I am in love with the car.
I am now trying to source some winter rims and tires and as I'm cheap, I've been looking used. My question is - will 15" rims fit my 530.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Alex

not sure if 15's will fit, I had a 98 540i with a set of 16" winter alloys, and the caliper was very close to rubbing the rim, not sure how big you brakes are compared to the 540.

15" will not fit, you need 16" min. Nice car, I have the exact same one, colour and all.

The car has 152,000 on it and runs like a dream. I need to replace the fan clutch but that's about it. The previous owner babied this car. Thanks for the advice, 16" it is.

I had the car fully inspected at BMW Waterloo before I bought it. One of the issues that came up was the fan clutch - starting to show signs of failing. It's my first chore for the new year. The car is still running beautifully!!!
