Wood grain?

ANYone have any pictures of E30's having some wood grain? i wanted to put some classy touch this year!

or where i can buy some? or if anyone makes custom pieces?

Seen some stick on stuff in some cars around on the net, but it doesn't look that good. I'll try to dig up some pics on my other computer.

the stick on stuff i can get on ebay, it doesnt look every good at all....
i was thinking about going to like a wood shop and seeing how much it would cost for some custom pieces, and hand rest!

i just think the interior needs something new!

get wood veneer from any major home reno store... for some applications you may have to steam the veneer then shape it to the part you want to have wood grain... once the veneer is dried the veneer will hold most of the contour of the part you want veneered. then you can use 3m super 77 to glue it to the part

note that i left out a ton of details to make it work out right. if you have any other question i'll be happy to help.

well i gotta 1st think about what wood to use, then the stain color!

Yeah, still not diggin' the wood grain trim. I found a few unique examples of E30 interiors on my old computer, my favourite being the black interior with the Alpina coloured stripes in the seats.

The one with the E36 center console... wtf? Nice finishing touches on that dashboard.
