Cool Car camera recommendations

Ok so after the opening cruise I figured I really need 2 things:

1) LSD (not acid)
2) A mountable car camera

Any recommendations?? Most important factors are:

-easy mounting on inside AND outside
-high quality
-space (lots of recording time)
-minimal wind noise

My friend showed me this:

http://www.goprocamera.com

What else?

That would be pretty sick to have on a cruise. I'd want to pick something like that up!
Might come in hand for the usually popo harassment too.

lol. We all drove past the remains of it on the cruise! Yay!

I still fully recommend the camera, just, if you're doing 180+, don't use the suction cup mount on the exterior.

Oh man...

Check if there's a disclaimer for speed and then try and get your money back?

How did you like the camera otherwise?

Loved the camera, although you DEFINITELY need the instructions the first 10 times you use it (because it's so small, the menu/controls are insanely cryptic). Oh, and also factor in an extra 20-40 bucks for a 2gb sd card and ni-mh batteries and charger.

Did you have the wide-angle version? I like how the wide angle catches more but I'm not sure if I'd like the distortion too much. What codec does it use for video? And there's no way to set it up wired...?

I had the regular lens version. No idea on the codec, and I'm pretty sure that it cannot be hardwired. Again, I had the thing for a very short period of time before it exploded all over 507.
