My personal favorite has always been the ASM S2000 built by AutoBACS. Sure its over the top but thats why its sooo dope. Back in 2004 when I saw it, it was pretty radical.
All carbon fiber widebooty kit that costs $40,000USD. 305whp horses out of NA 2.4L spinning > 10,000rpm. It turns a 0:57 at Tsukuba meaning its under 3-seconds off the record set by a tube-chassis carbon fiber body Evo with double the horsepower.
I drove the street version 272whp from 2.2L and it was definitely memorable :-p
I was shocked at that red AP2 they had at the meet. When I took it for a spin, while turning I could break the rear loose at 3000rpm in 2nd. It's waaaayyyyy more flexible than people seem to think, myself included.
I have a feeling Lindsay won't want me driving that car. At least after the first time she sees what I do to it.
It's all in the way you drive it. Drive it like a 318.. Rev the piss out of it.
