this is bs.... I mean all sports are dangerous but at this speed whoever made the track should've designed it with more safety in mind. Wow RIP.

i don't know a lot about sport in general.. but I'd guess a lot of people are gonna be asking.. is there no way to cover up the track so that he wouldn't be flung into a damn steel pillar??

i cant say i was super excited about the olympics, but after watching that it's totally killed the experience for me, I saw a girl die in a motorcycle accident right in front of me about 3 years ago and this just brought back memories! I get chills everytime i see the video!

wtf is wrong with you guys .. the whole event is dangerous .. you want to make the track safer?!?!
let me get this straight .. a guy is going down on a SLED at a 140km on ICE wearing less protection then a guy on a motorcycle because hes only wearing a helmet and he can barely see as he/she is lifting just there head and you want to make the track safer???
I dont care if you suger coated the track with fluffy mattresses .. at 140km if your body twists the wrong way your done.

^ yes...the sport is dangerous, but there can still be different levels of danger within dangerous sports. its said that this is the fastest track in the world, so that says something.
