Mayoral race in GTA
Just announced.. Rob Ford is entering the race. I for one am disgusted with how the current socialist councillors are ruining Toronto, and fiscal mismanagement, its definitely time for change. My vote is definitely for Rob Ford!

If I get to vote in Toronto(don't know yet), but most likely would be Rob. He seems to be a no BS kinda guy and not someone with a agenda towards the political side of things. History has proven that.

I vote Rossi...hes liberal in nature but fiscally conservative.Screw all the bike lanes, speed bumps, kissing unions butts and the lack of support for the working middle class, its time for a mayor that will use money wisely and not pamper special pet projects and special interest groups.I seen my property taxes up almost %20 since the left wingnut miller took over, its time for a person who can work within budget and get results. The amount of money Miller spent on the "greening" of Toronto is huge, with dumb ass designed street garbage bins,to the ever changing recycling bins.Bag fees, car fees, recycling fees, etc, etc where is the heck is all the money going into?..Im not seeing any sort of improvements in services by our communist City Hall.Rob Ford is fiscally smart but has "issues"...I like Denzel Wong but hes not running.

WOW its great to see a lot of non etobicokians liking ford, hes really a an amazing guy. at the highschool i attended to he single handedly started up our football program, invested thousands and thousands of dollars in equipment so me and alll my other classmates could play.
WHILE he was city councillor he was also our head coach and he came to EVERY SINGLE PRACTICE. (don bosco catholic) was the school i went to.
people from etobicoke, just something to think of Rexdale and Kipling the shoppers drug mart plaza across the street from canadian tire? remember what it was before? that was his doing.
and Islington and rexdale? the walmart plaza. he was involved also in that revitilization.
one quick thought. for everyone out there.
look at office budgets, ALL city councillors spend on average annually 35,000-50,000 as office budget expense that gets billed to YOU through your tax dollars! you guys enjoy the new vehicle registration tax? well you know where ALL of that revenue goes to now.
Rob Fords office budget for 2009 was $0... ok I lie it was $710
Out of his own pocket..
let me ask you? if you were a politician... and you needed pens pencils binders duatangs. would you expense them to the city on a city visa? or would you open up your wallet so your constituents money stays in there pockets.
meanwhile look at other councillors taking a mayoral shot...
see what they expense. DSLR cameras so they can take photos of "issues" in there wards. do those cameras go back to the city or does the councillor keep them?
cant a blackberry picture work? then uploading it to the internet?
what about councillors expensing flights on city dollars? yea you read correctly.
a councillor was in the dominican, had to get back to have a major vote. spent 1200 on a 2 way trip left his family in domincan came back voted. and flew back to domincan on CITY DOLLARS. 5 cent tax on bags anyone?
this is torontos last hope... seriously. he looses i need to get out ontario, this place will turn into a mega shit hole with a miller-esque mayor stepping up like rossi.
