You can't let chances like that escape you s0n. Next time you get a crack at Jabroni's teeth make sure you send him packing to the dentist for a week.

soooo Adam I guess you had better days....
I also heard rumor he took bribes on handing out or influence contracts for the bloated St Clair line, one of the larger contractors even questioned why there were over 30 different contracts handed out which caused a huge scheduling headache instead of letting two or three main players take care of things...

Well I suppose he has well cooked plan in advance. He may get something out of it while he is here. The TTC is a joke anyways.
It is insane how fur behind the TTc is at this time. Since 1985 nothing has been done. Many eastern EU/former soviet countries have much better public transit. Do not even bother going into Western EU. I guess that is why they are pushing the LRT projects. The city is too fur behind with the infrastructure projects that it can not aviod the chaos.

Ivan check out this site...Im been to the Hong Kong,London,Soeul , and the Madrid one.Amazing transit system, the workers were well dressed, polite and had answer for you, transit police everywhere in HK and Korea and clean with fresh air pumped in,in Toronto when you ask the fat ass workers they point at a map and ask you to locate the information.Favorite is Hong Kong and Madrid. At the stations exits they had real food not the garbage donut and chips like Toronto..Heres a photo of HK station...looks like a fricking plaza.HK one they completed the whole system in less than 5 year.It took almost 5 years for the damn St Clair line and it looks like chit.

Ivan Hong Kong has a population of 7 million and the construction was done by unions members who average about $45,000cdn a year..its wasnt slave labor LOL...the main thing was work was done 24/7..no stoppage. The lead company was Hong Kong base the finer technical work was from Europe and Japan. They came within %10 of estimate budget and they finished 2 months in advance.Toronto streetcar line was %45 over budget and was delayed two years!!..

I think he is comparing the labour rate with whole China + HK. Big mistake!
The city byitself must have much larger capita per head. That goes for all those Asian mega cities Like. Look what kind of service their airlines offer. You get treated like a king. That tells you something. Premium seats that are in range of 5 digits do not get filled with slave labour money.........

You can't compare Toronto to HK or any other European city - HK is an economic and transport hub, while European cities are well establish with infrastructure developed over centuries with economic and transport structure.

As much as I agree, Spain in particular was just too poor during Franco's era. That goes for Portugal and Greece as well. It was the EU that kicked in in there.

Agree, that Franco was no match for West Germany and France, but you have to remember that Portugal (Salazar was focused on colonies) and Spain (post civil war) were not affected by the war, which was the main factor in the economic recovery of the Western Europe. Greece was never a strong player in the European politics/economics.

Some very good points for sure. I am just afraid if we can trust our people that lead the city.
