Wanted: Crew for regional racing

Need a few (no more than 2-3) good guys (or hot girls ) to help during regional road races. http://www.casc.on.ca/

8 weekends from May to October. Schedule TBA.
6 weekends at Mosport, 1 at Shannonville and 1 at Calabogie.

You don't have to be a mechanic, no special skills required. Just bring your enthusiasm! We will teach you the rest.

Ideal candidates must be RELIABLE, not afraid of dirt under the fingernails and hopefully, can commit to a full season.

All expenses paid. (You may even get something resembling a uniform).

We will be racing an E30 in GT5 or GT4 class.
The weekend will consist of practice and qualifying sessions, three 20 minute sprint races and one hour enduro.
Including, but not limited to: laughs, good time, bench racing, beer (ONLY at the end of the day) and BBQ... but, somewhere in between we will have to work on the car.

I will be happy to answer ANY questions or you may PM.

Thank you!

If you can spare your time on other weekends, you are welcome... and you go to the top of the list, cause live in Bowmanville. At least you shouldn't be late for Mosport weekends

I've had a number of PMs asking basically the the same questions.
So, I will try to answer some of them here.

1. How long is the weekend?
For me, it starts on Thursday afternoon/evening. Getting to the track, parking, unloading. It would be great to have someone help me with that, but I really need you on Fri., Sat., Sun. Depending on the circumstances I will leave on Sunday night or Monday morning. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE THERE ON THURSDAY OR MONDAY.

2. What's involved/duties?
In the paddock:
Unloading/loading, Nut and bolt check, Rotating/changing tires, Cleaning wheels, Setting air pressures, Bleeding brakes, Changing pads/rotors, Keeping the car clean, Fueling, Fixing whatever needs to be fixed, Car set-up, Alignment, Inspecting every inch of the car... etc.

In the pits:
Lap timing, Minor repairs, Taking tire temps and pressures, Radio contact with the driver, Refueling in the pits during 3 hour races, Changing tires... etc.

3. Compensation.
In short - nothing. But I will cover your fuel, feed you (very well) and pay for accommodations, when we go to Shannonville and Calabogie.

4.What do I do?
Pretend to be a race car driver, try not to embarrass myself and my crew... too much, and mostly get in the way.

5. What kind of cars/racing?
Road racing. All kinds of cars - Fords, Camaros, Nissans, Hondas, VWs, BMWs, Porsches, Corvettes, Vipers, tube-framed Frankensteins... etc.

6. What do I want/need from you?
I don't care if you don't know a steering wheel from a flywheel. You will be walked through EVERYTHING, step by step. No one will ask you to do anything, unless I am 200% sure you can do it.
All I need are 2-3 RELIABLE and enthusiastic guys, who love racing.

Thank you
