LOL!! I've been with my bf for a year... I just simply never liked the holiday; I think its pointless and a way for Hallmark and Laura Secord to make money!
He took me to Aruba in December for the hell of it and we often pick up and go to spend the weekend away somewhere... That's far better, IMHO, than having to be expected to come up with some fantastical plan because the calendar says it’s the day to do so... I much prefer the spontaneity, but like I said, that's just me and the way I've always been... Meh!
