Anyone refinish their rims recently?
Like the title says. I'm looking to get my stock 19's refinished. Also needs the curb rash fixed on all 4 sides. Any recommendations on where to go?

Are they cheap. The stockers don't deserve big $$$ being spent on them. I was hoping to spend no more the $500?

Cheap is subjective to quality/reputation right? From their pricing - they can fit in your budget give or take a few but its best to let them see the rash first. They are honest, and do quality work - from experience.

just to show u carcones ability and intellegence towards fixing wheels and wheels in general, I called last year asking about refinishing the rs's and the guy went on a rant about how stupid a 3pc wheel is, theyll never seal properly once uve taken it apart...... so carcones is a pass for me

I found a shop located @ Weston and Steeles (from this board) that was execellent and cost me $100/rim to fix. Normal curb rash, 2 tone wheel; 5 spoke M6 rims..... included balancing, mounting and remounting. Company is called Rim Techniques. 416-740-3773 ask for Nigel. Did excellent work!!! Very happy. poke with Carcone's before and they were stupidly expensive for the same work. Mt rims look factory new now.....

Really, Nigel came through for you? I've heard a few horror stories here on max about that shop... Glad to know it worked for you.

He did some work for me in the past and it turned out pretty good. Don't know what it's like now though but I've also read some pretty bad reviews on his shop.
