The 540s are getting popular with the kids, with the stuff that you have on your car it should get sold but not at the price that you may be thinking of.

Definitely not, its sad really, was at around Yorkdale and saw at least 2-3 540's drove by with $300 dubs.

Now, why don't you guys post up your address and year/mods on your car?

The only thing you should be repairing is your cracked windshield so it can pass safety when you sell it.

Exactly why as much as I love it, unless you're a purist, the e39 is done. I see too many kids with done up e39s playing the part. Never mind the maintenance on higher mileage ones. With the f10 coming out this year, the e60 is now the older car to have, for those who like it.

I agree. In my homeland THE E39 came in 1995, but production date could be as early as 1994. Imho the new generation of teenagers just like to play video games and sit on the internet. You have to be crazy to think that some kid is not going to low ball you on kiji just to get in a BMW, including the E39. Not sure why is that, but getting low balled is very popular here. The place where I come from we have very low wages, but people make reasonable offers. So I would think twice before dumping all that cash on your E39....

I kind of agree on E60 being an older already, the any thing is that BMW made a huge change and it takes time for that car to get dated as E39/E38/E46.

The E39 is turning into the new E34...they are getting older, cheaper, and many get neglected, prices have droped a LOT. Almost anyone can get it, but they want cheap rather then "good".

I think in a couple of years its just gonna be either beater e39s or hardcore e39s left, on that note, talked to Rocco and planning to keep it and do some swap to the way I've always wanted since parts are cheap enough.

may be get a 528 as a beater and slammed it on some cheapo coilover?

btw, Fil, got any spare M rear bumpers?
