Took out 35W HIDs, replaced with standard H1 bulb, still getting LBF

As the title says, I removed my HID kit. It was a 35W kit so I know why I was getting Low Beam Failure on my OBC. I tore out the kit because one of my ballasts crapped out and I just don't care anymore and just wanted to go with ordinary filament bulbs for reliability. However, I continue to get LBF's even though the lights are working. Has this happened to anyone? Can anyone shine any light on this situation (no pun intended)?

Clean off all the connectors on the base of the h1 bulb (and, since you have aftermarket headlights, the connections between the stock harness and the headlight).

What wattage H1's are you running?

If you want to try to isolate the problem, get two 9006 bulbs and plug them directly into the lowbeam harness. If you still get LBF after that, you have further wiring issues.

Oh they're clean alright. No worries there. How can I connect a 9006 bulb to an H1 setup?

The connector which plugs into your aftermarket headlight wiring is actually a 9006 plug.
