'06 330xi vs. '07 328xi
Hi,
I'm new to the forum ....
I'm deciding on a used BMW .... 2006 330xi with ~60,000km with sports package or 2007 328xi ~ 45,000 km.
Really enjoyed how 330xi drove, but couldn't get over the discontinuation of it from '07 forward. The 328xi is less powerful and less responsive it seems, but belongs to the new series line up.
any suggestions?
Tks in advnace

330i. forget the xi. get snow tires instead. or better yet, with the money you save not doing an xi, get an '07 335i.

I am confused a bit. Isn't 2009 facelift. How can 2007 feel better over 06. I know it's one year newer, but I DONT see the difference.

I own an XI , one before that was an i, I do drive it daily in the snow and LOVE it, makes life easy. If it is not about year round use and youll only summer drive it and care more about take off and turning sharply than get an i. Mind you if you care about taking off in deep snow or on ice get the xi lol
Anyone have a comparo test of xi vs i in 0-60 1/4 etc?

The 06' 330xi had a sports package with it, does that make the handling a bit better?
Back to the question tho ..... 07' 328xi or 06' 330xi?

not a fan of XI, a bmw should be RWD imo, thats the point of it. For winter i'd get a quattro or a wrx.

Lets go back further, maybe a real bmw should only have rear breaks!

go for the 06, if it has the sport package, just make sure all maintance is up to date, ask for a car fax.
Love how the guy asked which of the 2 he should get and so many answered with not and awd.... he's obviously already decided it will be an awd!!!!

330xi. Gem of a motor from what I hear. Shame it was used for only one year...
edit: Snap, that rhymes.
