Maintenance/repair disposal

For the DIY folks. Curious to know where you guys/girls dispose off your used oil, oil filter, plugs, coolant and faulty parts etc. that you've replaced/replenished.

Any ministry disposal facility.

There are recycling depots in the city; on specific days and hours you can dispose of your oil and filters, paint cans, arisol etc. no questions asked. One such place is just south of Lawrence on Keele st. about half way down towards Eglinton on the left side. NO SERVICE FEE, completely free

Go to any Canadian Tire after hours and leave your old oil near the auto service door, they'll just take it. The one I used to work at always had jugs of old oil near those doors and they would disappear every week or so.
