I was planning on buying one a couple years back, but heard many software issues with that phone, like freezing & software crash, even though it got replace with the Omnia HD, the HD version still has software issues.

I find samsung makes decent spec phones, like the Omnia HD, but their 'after release' support is crap. ie, few, if any, firmware updates, hardware improvements/fixes, os improvements etc. And in the smartphone world, those things are important.

I agree, because of that reason I have trouble buying their phones, I was planning on purchasing the Samsung S8500 Wave /w Bada-OS when it comes out in April, but because of these problems I might hold back and wait.

i've been looking @ the LG Eve smart-phone, but read mixed reviews with it, such as the android v1.5 it has is no good/out-dated, and other minor flaws it has.

what would you guys suggust for a phone that's a cross between a "I-Phone" and "Black-Berry". Since i'm looking for a slyde phone that has a QWERTY key-board.

I enjoy my BB Curve. Never let me down, although I would have like 3G. Next time around (phone was free 16 months ago).
