Opinion needed... style 32 vs 37 vs 71
I need some opinions for a rim choice that I have to make. These are for my winter rims on my '03 540i. It is black on black btw if that matters in style selection. Please give me your opinions on which rim you think would look best on a black E39 540i. All the sets are staggered and I believe that all the sets have lips on them too.
The options are as follows:
1. Style 32 in 17"
2. Style 37 in 18"
3. Style 71 in 18"
1. Style 32 in 17"
2. Style 37 in 18"
3. Style 71 in 18"

style 32 it has a nice deep dish look with a staggered set the rears will have that wide lip, but I'm into the old school look

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I believe all 3 sets have lips on them too... I amended the original post.

I like the look of the 32's and I think they match the e39 the most out of your 3 choices.

I am torn here...
I know that people drool all over the style 37 on the E39 (those are the rims that come with the M-technic package on the 5-er to replace the style 32). I am one of those people... lol
But then when I saw the style 71 I liked that over the style 37 as it seems to have more going on and the rivets are a nice touch.
But now that I look back at my style 32s (which are on my car currently) I am liking them more myself too... they are more unique than a dual 5-spoke design.
... which is why I am torn... need more votes to convince me! lol

32 are the nicest of the three in my opinion followed by 37. i find the 71 hideous.

Style 37 in 18" for sale...
I've got a set of original 18" M-Parallel staggered rims with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25's in the stock size 235/40/18 (front) and 265/35/18 (rear) with only 1.25 season on them.
Not sure if you're looking for such a fancy winter setup.
I guess.....I don't compromise on style...even in the winter.
I would sell them at the right price, as I'm eyeing a set of 19's on Bimmerforums.
