3 Bimmers showed, 'M' Roadster in Red, 540i silver, 330xi gray. Big accident at the intersection as I arrived (about 9:50) No idea if it involved any of "us".
I can pull codes with no problems and clear them but any programing and ecu sw has to be done while the car is hooked up on a battery charger. reading and writing from a Siemens ecu is dangerous without a constant voltage source. Example: if your Aux fan were to turn on in the middle of read out or write process it would lock up the ecu and the chip flash memory inside would have to be removed and it's painful process.
Oh wow. Had no idea you needed all that. I remember you changing the parameters in your 3 just for shits and giggles. Cool stuff.
No worries then. I'll let you buy my coffee.
Yes I can change my tune on the fly because I'm OBD1 and I have a eprom emulator . OBD2 is flash memory but it takes no time to insert the sw under the safe conditions of being hooked up to a constant voltage. I have the same diagnostic software as BMW uses befor they release a engine it's a purity impressive software package and I will bring it tonight
