Holy f*&k. there are FRENCH islands, belonging to France off the coast of Canada
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Pierre_and_Miquelon
-They use the EURO
-They have European spec cars, ****ing awesome
-They are defended by French military
-They Belong to France
-Problem is, theres only like 6k people and the only economy is fishing and tourism pretty much
Check out these cars & plates. Citroen Picasso can be seen.
Registration plates are different too
Euro Spec M3 anyone?
im thinking this would be SWEET if you could
import them, but unfortunately the ferry does
not ship them to Canadian shores. I'm sure
something can be arranged though
The awesome thing is if you actually go to Paris,
for instance, buy a car there, they will ship it to
St. Pierre for free! They can do it because St.
Pierre is part of France!

Oui! St. Pierre and Miquelon. Didn't everyone study this in High School?
Very close to Newfoundland, in fact when I was last in Newfoundland the locals take a ferry there for vacationing and buy cheap but excellent French wine there by the case.

not only do they use the Euro, but they also use Canadian dollars.
I like this VVV, good luck for tourist finding their own way around
"Street names are not commonly used on the islands. Directions and locations are commonly given using nicknames and the names of nearby residents"

Yeah, went to NF about 6 years ago, drove a few hours south from St.Johns and then about a 1/2 hour ferry ride and you are there! Suddenly it is like you are right in Europe. It was quite cool!

I'm sure you could get them over to Newfoundland but probably be next to impossible to get it put on the road.
