that was my initial plan was to fix the obvious,the control arm and shock.i was just worried that there could be damage to other parts such as the trailing arm,big buck$.
i do have a couple of spare rims.
i hope there is no damage to the differential or axels ,ect.

same happened to my cuzin 318is it jus need control arms and shhocks replaceed and check if springs havent cracked
Should cost much to fix

the same accdient happend to me ytd, hopefully it wasn't as bad. by looking at the pics mine wasn't as bad. i was comming from a rolling dead stop and spun out half way into a turn..

Hit the animal whatever it is, if you have to file an insurance claim for that, it goes under the comprehensive part of your policy if you hit an animal

Ahahah I did the exact same thing two months ago, just got to fil and get most likly a cv shaft and lower latteral link, fairly easy fix, just takes al little time.

the only things i can see is the lower control arm and the shock.im gonna replace these two parts and take it in for an alignment.that should tell me what, if anything else is damaged.
im crossing my fingers.

Which drive shaft are you talking about.. the one going into the wheel, or the one going into the diff

Let me know if you need any of the parts, i have full 330i rear suspention.
From what i SEE, you only need the control arm and shock. BUT i suspect the trailing arm might be bent where the shock mounts to it, still not a big deal!

I would never go with insurance on something like that! Even if it does not go up now, if you ever have to change your insurance company, you now have a "claim" on your record!

i dont think my drive shaft would be bent.unless your talking about the shaft from the dif to the wheel.i was worried about that,how can i tell if it is bbent?

I meant the Output shaft.
The one going from the diif to the wheel, on the picture it just looks like it could also be damaged.
