Black Betty

Im sure most of you have already seen pics of my 318, but this thread will be used to update the Max community of any mods i do the car. I will include before and after pics of what i can.

To start ill show you hoe dirty the car was when i purchased it, and what it looked like after my friend and i cleaned it.

The first 2 pics are before i got the car, the pics after, are from after the car was cleaned. pay attention to the rims before and after. they were actually quite a bit worse when i pick the car up.

I bought a new Hamann shift knob. the old knob was an aluminum short BMW knob that wasnt even glued or siliconed on, and was pretty beat up. First pic is the old knob, and the last 2 are the new Hamann knob.

the next thing on my list is to get clear corners and M3 tails, and after that perhaps M3 Bumpers and side skirts. it already has vaders, and M3 mirrors. at some point i will get some new rims, most likely bbs. as far as performance goes, i may get an exhaust, and a chip. the car is already lowered so i dont have to do that.

wow that car gets around. I remember thinking about buying that 318 myself about 6-7 yrs ago. It was in windsor, but at the time had some 18s on it it and a wing.

It must be the same car, 318is with shaved moldings, and an ///M3 interior correct? I'm almost positive I saw pictures of that car posted on here from someone else as well.

anyway looking good man, keep it goin.

Thanks. Yup this is the car. Good thing you never bought it. She has been a lot of trouble. M3 interior, used to have a wing, but i think the trunk was replace at some point, so its not there any more. There is still a lot that needs to be done still, exterior lights all around, rims, might need a new hood.

Betty, My BMW E36 '94 318is got a new and better looking cd deck. Well the deck isn't new, but it's new for here. The deck is a Pioneer DEH - 5900IB, from my old car. When I started taking out the old deck which was the most crappy Clarion ever, I discovered that the wiring was a mangled mess. I had an extra harness for my Pioneer, so I was lucky in the sense that I could sort of tidy up the mess of wires. I did my best tidying things up, the speaker wires were not stock, they were plain white wires. I had to kinda guess which was which. That's okay since everything works, and sounds better than before.

Sorry about the before pic, but it's all I have.

After
