330Ci vs. Type R

Which is faster straight-line? Handling? Braking (obviously Type R, i think i read 114 ft somewhere 60-0)?

well, I will take the 330 anyday too. However I do respect Type-R. It is not a rice car. Man, the term "RICE" is so overly used on internet that the true meaning doesnt even exist anymore.

I AGREE STRONGLY...
He he, wait till you see how the Type R performs especially when I was Shannonville, I think you better think twice before using the term RICE

The car is owned by the owner of Kennedy Hifi. This car has twin brother with different spoiler which is owned by another guy in KHF.

This car can not be driven on the street. No plate, no interior, roll cage. This car is damn loud and fast.

me too take 330 over acura with R sticker.
0-60 and back 60-0 of course it would be the R sticker.
even the integra with mod chip vtec start at 4500rpm. we tested it on erinmills from thomas st to erin centre blvd. which is one traffic light distance at the light from 0 to 195km/hr and back to 0 at erin centre blvd. infront of erin mills town centre light. we also tested 325is on the same stretch we almost come close to 170km/hr but we couldn't make it to stop in time but it was a nicer ride. also tried a 2003-z06 my friend got a ticket on a second gear ..... darn .... good thing no point. damn exhaust too loud.

I won't compare cars racing in shannonville, more proper way is to compare races in BTCC or more professional races. Yes, the Type-R might be quicker than the 330 but the type-R was made solely for race purpose and on the other hand the 330 is built for comfort and luxury, it's totally a different car!
So if you want to compare R cars, you might have to compare a M3 with the Type-R instead. Personally, I think 330CI is way better car than a Type R.

Two different class cars. I dont think there is any point comparing two. As I said, If I have a choice to choose, I will definitly go with 330. However, I was just saying TYPE-R is not a "RICE CAR". (It could be, If it falls into the wrong hands )

I agree

I agree with what you guys all said. The only thing i hate about the Type R is that it is Front wheel drive. I think lookswise, from the exterior, it looks amazing. One of my favourite car designs. But then again so is the E46 3-series.

He is comparing performance figures (which car is faster). Yes a Type R is faster than 330ci but Type R is good comarison with M3 in terms of performance. If you watch american touring cars then you will see that Type R's are even beating m3's. I think it's Realtime racing versus Turner Motorsport or something. Yes a 330ci better interms of overall build quality and workmanship but not in speed.
