This guy's got some balls!
So I had my 45' MCI coach stolen.
I had the bus parked at my uncles house. Some guy called the towing company and said he had to move the coach because he sold the property.
He also wanted the coach scrapped for metal.
Towing company towed the bus to their yard.
After 2 days I found out the name of the towing company.
Speaking with them I found out they also paid cash for the bus and are the new owners.
I asked them how is that possible since I have the ownership.
We called the Police who spoke to the towing company and informed them they can't move the coach until this matter is cleared. Boy are they pissed.

You have to wonder if they were shown a fake ownership.

They were told that they could not find the ownership. Therefore the towing company gave him a deposit and the rest will be paid in full once they receive the ownership.
Yup they got screwed.
I feal bad for the owner of the towing company he is out some big coin. The funny thing is they never asked for any identification from the seler. They have no idea who this person is or anything.

Possibly the towing company is using this "guy" as a cover. Maybe they just came, hooked on figuring they'd scrap it and nobody would know, now they made up story to cover their asses. I wouldn't put anything past a towing outfit, most of them are pretty shady.

That's a good angle and definitely possible. Tow guys also drive reckless to get to an accident to get the hookup.
