Anyone hit up Blue Mountain yet? How was it? Planning on going this weekend, but not sure if it's worth the drive yet.

I usually wait till they have 10 runs open at blue before going .. im afraid I might ruin my board if they dont have enough snow and have patches in certain places where a lot of traffic goes down.
I usually go with a group of 4 or more on the weekends and we usually go to Kelseys after for food and beer rather then eat at blue.

Nah, unless you're huge on jibbing with your board, i wouldn't worry about it. Then again, my definition of "ruin my board" might be a little different.

If the conditions aren't good around here on Sunday, we might be down for that.

Bruce (I think thats your name, haven't really ever directly referred to your first name - in any case). I went to Blue this past Sunday on the 13th. It was decent conditions. They had 4 runs open but only the central lift was running; as a result we stayed only on the 2 closest runs: Tranquility and Smart Alic.
Tranquility for the most part was ABSOLUTE UTTER CRAP. It was obliterated. However Smart Alic was perfect! Was completely powder, no shaved patches or anything - smooth riding.
I'll be back there this Saturday.

I know! Sanj, we're going this Sunday. Not sure where, but definitely somewhere! Blue, or St Louis by the looks of it. Give me a shout if you're down.

Yeah, i go by Bruce Thanks for the heads-up Jim. If you go Saturday and you're on max after, shoot over an update if you can. I got a couple buddies going to St louis tomorrow so we'll see how that place is going, but from what i'm hearing, St louis is the most live for now.

If I come home Saturday night I will keep you posted. However, if I stay there the night I will update the thread sometime Sunday.
Here's a pic of me (and my buddy - gqfuzion on the site - to the right) up top of Tranquility:

Thanks.
Unfortunately I didn't get to go this weekend. My friends are there right now and it's snowing. For the most part they said the runs are good.
I'll be going xmas weekend.

I was at Blue on Friday and Saturday, the conditions were actually pretty good, some ice in a couple of places though but they're making snow everywhere. I'm probably going back on Tuesday afternoon.
