Arg!!!! Should I do this?..

Well, I read this tutorial
http://www.geocities.com/karlkarlb/greyskirts.html and bought the Castrol super Clean degreaser, but then I talked to my friend and he told me not to do it. I was almost ready to do it as I could not find the time.

Now I am cofused, he said that there might be rust under the gra coating, and I'm pretty sure '95-96 3 series didn't rust... right? help me out here..Did anyone do this? Sure looks like an attractive....umm cost-effecient way to do it

It works, but there are some downsides...

First off, the bumpers will still be grey, they use a grey plastic instead of the grey protectant. Also the jackstand covers will be grey because they're grey plastic as well =(

so it'll look really weird unless you have aftermarket bumpers painted already.

2.That's what touch up paint is for.

3.So that is it?.... Are you guys sure there is the body color paint underneath the gray plastic? What if it's not?
