stupid questions...

the headlight switch on the E36...is it supposed to be lit when you turn the lamps on (at least parking lamps)?
what about the vent rotary dial thingy?

goes to show you i don't drive the car much at night...

I forgot if these are supposed to be lit or not...!

When I bought my car it had like 70% of the bulbs out. Changed all of them with new bulbs from the dealer, and all of them are still good except the headlight switch. It lasted 6 months. Not changing it again.
