90 325ix no start

I have a 90 325ix that won't start. I checked for codes and 1223 came up, coolant temp sensor so I went out and bought both the one for the gauge and the one for the computer. Replaced both and nothing, car still cranks but does not start and code 1223 still comes up. So I traced the wiring from the sensor to the computer checking for continuity at connector c191 and at the computer. From the sensor connector both power and ground site there is 0hms of resistance a near perfect connection. There is no corrosion of any kind on any of the connectors in the circuit so I have come to the conclusion that I have a dead DME. I would like a second opinion if anyone has had this problem before and if you agree with me that the DME is dead would anyone be interested in a parts car?

I don't know much at all about the electrical, but is your fuel pump working? Have you changed your fuel filter? When my car didn't start, that's what I checked and it worked. I had a thread on here about it I can direct you to if you think it would help.

After checking all fuses.

Main Relay, Fuel Pump Relay, Fuel pump itself, Fusible Link off the small + lead in the trunk(peel back shrink wrap, look at link - Re-insulate later). Non-functional ICV (needs this for air when at idle, put key to run not start, then listen at the ICV for the buzzing).

Performance one step at a time.
