The distinctive BMW smell..

I'v farted plenty, and eaten and drank in my M5 to notice anymore.. but I did in the beginning, along with all my other BMWS...

DONT THEY ALL SMELL LIKE CRAYONS??

I have figured it out! That distinctive BMW smell is like a box of crayons...honestly.. i just picked up an X3 this week, and its got that BMW scent to it, that I always can pickup in any BMW car.

what does it remind you of?

i find volkswagens smell like crayons much more than BMWs. My friends tell me that my e30s have an "old car" smell

My e30 has like an old cottage smell lol. My father's M5 though has an amazing smell ever since he got the car and it hasn't gone away. It's hard to describe but (to me anyways) it smells like when you sniff a nice cuban cigar before lighting it. It's very subtle but it makes the atmosphere in the car seem classier, which is suiting because it's one hell of a classy car.

I would have to agree both of my BMW's and Dave's 740 all have the same smell. I don't know if it quite crayons but then again I haven't smelt a crayon in a long time...I'm going to have to test this...lol
