Recommend a headunit for me.

I got everything installed and hooked up. Need to find a mic for it, otherwise, everything is working perfect.

Anyone know if there are specific mics for car stereo apps? I can get the OEM one from JVC (44$ in the us, 91$ in canada, thanks)

It uses a stereo mini jack though (3.5MM), will a regular microphone work?

Yup, 3.5mm is standard headphone size.

the JVC KD-R600 is on sale for $125.99 at Crappy Tire right now 'til the 11th, retail price is $179.99. It has USB, Aux. input, Bluetooth, and 30,000 different lighting colours. I tried picking one up today but it was sold out at both of the stores I went to.

I just got an Alpine for my wifes car.
I highly recommend it although the Bluetooth is optional (added cost)
but it has everything else i at least wanted:

Dont know how much it costs there but i paid about 220Euros including fitting and extented iPod and USB cables!
