But you've already got a place to hang out upstairs. HTR just makes sense

HTR's rock. There's something else I need to do, hang my projector. Crap.

I'd still have the projector and speakers, etc, just would add a wet bar and an area to do other stuff, like play poker, etc. I don't know how much I'd use a dedicated HTR.

Ooooo, good call. Put me down for just a regular old run of the mill 3.0 CS. Mint condition.
Annnnd, only because I fall in love with them every time I see them, and hear them, and I got smoked by one today at lunch, an Audi S5. Sacrilege or not. I want!

You may purchase an Audi as long as it has an S in the name. Otherwise, just buy a VW 4motion. :p

definitely sacrilegious to mention an audi on the bmw wishlist....
how about an s38 and an e30 M3 and another 10,000 to put into it...
barring that, im with Jay, all the projects get done, get done well, and dont break the bank!

Break the bank and finishing the basement should not be used in the same sentence...

I know, I know....but I still want one.
But if it's really that bad a thing, then I'll take it off the list for now, and stick to my original of a 3.0CS.
For a bit more of a realistic wish, I wish that nothing else breaks on my car for the next year so that I can put money to improvements rather than repairs. (okay maybe it's not that realistic )

I'll side with Chromius here -- Simply gorgeous cars.......with the caveat that there is no headroom. I fit just fine in a first-gen TT, but when I sat in an A5, all I could see to my left was headliner, and it wasn't easy to turn my head the way it was compacted in there.
The S4 would do for me. I don't trust Audis as far as I can throw them for reliability, but they do look nice.

Do not agree with you here, I'm using a 96 A4 as a bush buggy and it's been damn reliable it's whole life (now shy of 400,000K).
It's the maintance that blows on them (very costly) although you do not really need to do any of that to keep it running if you ignor all the flashing lights.
I even swamped this thing in water 1/2 way up the doors for over an houre and everything mechanical/electronic still works mint. The door seals didn't even leak water into the car.
As for my wish...
Mint E30 M3 with BMW's turbo 1.3L I4 engine that they used in F1 years back.
Lightned with CF fenders/Doors/Hood/Trunk and the roof as well.
