What are good projectors for e36
Hey guys, I have another set of original headlights I bought and just wondering what are good projectors for a e36. Figured I'll make my own "depo" headlights, with a better light output. I've got a set of hids, just looking for some projectors , what would you guys recommend.
I was looking at e34 projectors

considering even some acura tsx projectors
Any input would be welcome.
Thank you
Daniel

Buy some DJ Auto or Depo projectors.
For ~$150 for a full set of headlights you can't go wrong, unless of course you have the time to hack apart a set and put in some tsx projectors (Which you probably have to pay for anyways).
TSX projectors do spread the beam alot wider and disperse the light better, but i really don't have the time to bother with the DIY.

Are you talking about retrofitting tsx projectors into the stock North American headlights? If you are, don't waste your time or money... the plastic lenses are garbage, and they don't have the necesary depth to install a projector. Like mentioned above, get a set of DJ Auto or Depos. Or better yet, a set of ZKW or Bosch euro-spec ellipsoids.

yea definitely don't waste your time with the NA plastic lights. you can pick up a set of used bosch or zkw's or buy brand new depos for a little less. try to get a set of zkw's or bosch they are much more durable but the depos are fine too if you are careful and patient with them.

So i went to my cousins shop and found one TSX projector headlight, if I find one more I might just retro fit them and rock them for the upcoming season. This way I'll have cheap headlights for under $50 bucks. If I won't find one, then I'll get the Depo's.

I have a set of Bosch europeans available that I bought from Germany a year ago. Looking for $120 for the pair. Glass needs to be replaced and then you've got a new brand new looking set. Lenses are available on ebay or at the dealership. PM if interested.
