It is a good deal, but how good are these things? I bought a rechargeable water pick that lasted less than a year before it stopped recharging.

Sorry to hear about your Waterpik brush.
As my description says, Sonicare make the "Rolls Royce" of toothbrushes.
The few members who picked one up over the last couple of months will attest to the quality (online reviews of the "flexcare+" model are all +++).
Philips Sonicare has exemplary customer service and is excellent at resolving any potential warranty issues.
Out of the few hundred units my wife sold, only one broke down and Philips Sonicare replaced it with a new/er model, that cost much more than the patient originaly had.
Comes with a full 1 year warranty and of course I would take care of any Max member issues, even for a short period beyond that.

quick update this brush is pretty cool,it does what it promises and is quieter than the cheapo brushes, its very light and holds a good charge, dont really know about the UV desanitizer thingy though, seems more a of a gizmo than having a purpose.Over all a very good product. It does a waaaaay better job cleaning your teeth than a normal brush and its easier on the gum.

+1

i've been using it for just over a month now and i find brushing a lot easier and faster. plus the vibration at first was weird, now it feels so nice.

Red face 3 additional units now available again...

Just received 3 more units and they available at the same special price of $119/ea (50% of retail).
These are hard to come by, so don't hold off.
As you can tell from the feedback.....these are the best...by far better than any other brush on the market.

the brush works great but the fricking anti bacteria light burnt out after 2 months.I knew that would happen. The replacement brushes are expensive but again thats where they make the real money, either way the brush works as it should and it does a great job.It removes residue from teeth and the brush is light and holds a long charge.

Why didn't you PM me about the light bulb ?
I haven't had any other complaints on those bulbs, so they shouldn't burn out.
I'll call Sonicare on Monday for you and take care of that.
I'm happy to hear that otherwise you're very happy with it.
